We are glad to see legislation being considered in Washington State and several other states that requires training for cosmetologists, barbers, estheticians, and hair designers on the care, styling, and treatment of textured hair. It has always been part of the curriculum, work processes, and overall culture at Atarashii Apprentice Program and we are happy to see it gradually becoming the standard nationwide.

Meet Kaydence ✨

Kaydence is beginning her journey in the beauty industry — a passion she’s had for as long as she can remember. As an assistant at Halo, she is currently refining her skills and learning from our team while working toward becoming a full-time stylist. She truly loves creating beautiful blowouts and bright blondes, and is especially excited to grow in balayage and long layered cuts as she continues her education.
Outside of the salon, she enjoys trying new restaurants, shopping, and spending time with her friends and her cats. Fun fact — her go-to meal is steak and a Diet Coke.

We're letting the pups take over the Hellertown Pool! The Hellertown Pool is excited to announce our 1st Annual Pup Plunge to be held on Saturday, August 23rd from 1:30 - 3:30 pm!

This event is for Hellertown / Lower Saucon dogs only. Proof of residency required. You will be required to sign a waiver. Please bring your own clean up bags and water bowls. No food permitted.

All dogs should be friendly, socialized and current on vaccinations.

Admission is $3.00 (cash only) per dog, owners are welcome to attend free of charge
