I know life has been busy! As most of you know, I’m finishing up FNP school while balancing coursework, clinical hours, mentoring, educating, training, being a wife, mom, and KK and my daughter who is due any day now with GRAND #3 🥹💕

A new month, a new season, and I’m just grateful. Grateful for every client who continues to trust me with their face, their skin, their confidence, and their self-care. I never take that lightly.

But since we’re officially in September, let me give y’all a little reminder. The holidays will be here before we know it. 🎃🦃🎄

Before the shopping, parties, family gatherings, pictures, and running around taking care of everybody else starts, go ahead and get YOU out of the way. 😂 Schedule your self-care now so you’re not trying to squeeze it in during the holiday rush.

Tox is typically maintained every 3–4 months, depending on the person and treatment plan.

Filler can last around 9–12+ months, depending on the product, area treated, and the individual.

Facials are recommended about every 4–6 weeks to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

And chemical peel books are officially OPEN! 🍂 September is a great time to start getting serious about your fall skincare.

And since we’re getting into peel season, please be careful with chemical peels. Every peel is not for every person, every skin type, or every skin condition. Certain products, medications, skincare routines, and even things you may not think about can affect how your skin responds.

Please make sure you’re going to someone who is licensed, experienced, knows the products they’re using, and knows how to properly assess your skin.

It’s not just about getting a peel. It’s about protecting your skin and getting healthy, beautiful results.

This is honestly one of the many reasons I chose to further my education. I wanted to be able to do more than just aesthetics…I want the knowledge and credentials to properly assess, diagnose, prescribe & develop treatment plans for certain skin conditions. It’s crazy watching everything I’ve learned over the years start to come full circle. From CNA, CMA, LVN, RN, BSN, to future MSN, APRN, FNP-BC… whewww! 🙌🏽
