A few months ago these beautiful young ladies and this handsome snake came to the studio for a creative photograph. Each year I try to create at least one portrait for international competitions. By doing so I get invaluable feedback from my peers and a panel of esteemed industry judges. I am always competing with myself to push my abilities and grow my skills so that I can apply it to my standard client work to provide you each with the best.

I have another to share, but not until March as it is a finalist and I don't want to spoil it for any judging impact. This image received a silver accolade and in thrilled!

May is Postpartum Depression Awareness Month. The first Wednesday of May is World Maternal Mental Health Day. The goal of these days is to raise awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Things may seem perfect on the surface but behind closed doors there may be a different story. You matter momma! If you are suffering, it is okay to ask for help.

I am so honored to use my art to give representation to mothers. IYKYK I have had a few heavy hitters in the past. I felt called to create this piece to bring light to PPD (Postpartum Depression). Often times it is something someone tries or does hide well. I think it should be highlighted and talked about more. Please know you're not alone! It is okay to ask for help. It is okay to not be okay!
