A new client sat in my chair this week after walking through something incredibly hard. Three years ago she lost all of her hair during chemo. Since then, she’s been patiently and faithfully growing it back… and she finally felt ready for a fresh cut and bright highlight.

Getting to hear her story of strength and perseverance — and welcoming her as she’s new to our city — was such an honor. There were tears at the end… but the best kind. Happy, healing, “I feel like me again” tears.

This is what doing hair is all about. It’s so much more than color and cuts. It’s confidence. It’s restoration. It’s connection.

And I’m just so grateful I get a front-row seat to moments like this. ✨
