Although I’ve reached out to many of my clients that had future appointments, I realized I never made a post to my business page.

Unfortunately I was in a hit and run on Valentine’s Day that left my wrist completely shattered.

I am so very lucky my wrist was the only injury, but as a hairstylist, my heart is broken. I had just gotten started in my little studio and was enjoying every second.

I had a full reconstructive surgery the day after the accident. I still have very limited range of motion with my fingers, wrist and elbow. I’m working with occupational therapy to gain my movement and strength back ASAP.

We are looking at a 6 month recovery but I will just be happy to make a full recovery and have no lasting issues behind the chair.

I have spent the last two days learning one of my most favorite things, 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! I have offered tape-ins since the beginning of my career but I always knew I wanted to learn more. I’ve watched many videos on the different methods of extensions but in order to feel completely confident in offering this service, I knew I needed to take a hands on course. ⁣

𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼 showed up and showed out the last two days teaching us 𝟱 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙𝙨 of extensions. Extensions are not a “one size fits all” type of deal. That’s why it’s important to be able to customize and choose the right extensions for your clients hair type/lifestyle. ⁣

It’s been almost a month since I opened the doors and in that time we’ve been on family vacation, gotten through the holidays, and now on the mend from the Flu 😣 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯! ⁣
