My Response to COVID-19:

I wanted to compose a quick email about my plan of action in response of current events with COVID-19. As of the time that this email goes out, I plan on remaining open.

I will listen to and take appropriate actions that are suggested by the CDC, the Governor, and other appropriate health agencies. Your health and the health of your family are paramount to me. I will be cleaning the shop everyday before the door opens. I will be taking more time between clients to ensure proper sanitation. Please be patient while I sanitize every surface between clients. I ask all of you to leave your family at home if they are not getting services at that time. I want as few people as possible in the shop during each clients service. Plainly this means if someone usually accompanies you to your haircut, please have them stay in the car or at home.

If you are not feeling well, have a fever, cough, sneezing, congestion, or any other symptoms associated with this virus, please stay at home. Call me at 615-348-8877 and I will cancel or reschedule your appointment.

This situation is very fluid. It will change from day to day. Changes might occur between days that I am open in how I conduct business. I have contingency plans in the works to try and stay open as best as possible. I will reach out to you if those changes occur.

As I said earlier, your and your family's health matter to me more than running a successful business. I want you to stay healthy. We will get through this time of trial. Together as a people we can conquer our difficulties.

I leave you with one final word. You might not need it. You might not want it. You might not believe it. I will say it anyway.

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Be good to others, do good, and have peace.
