Flanary's Hair Design

Well... We haven't made a big announcement but Flanary's Hair Design closed a few weeks back. Salon "suites" have become popular and most stylists seem to want their own space to work inside. COVID started the decline of finding stylists that fit the open floor model, combined with an ongoing struggle to make a salon desirable for all age clients. It was time for a change. Speaking on behalf of my late father (Lorrain M. Flanary, Jr.), our family truly appreciates the support of every stylist, cosmetologist, manicurist, etc. who worked at Flanary's and each and every client over the last 46 years! What a run.

When I received the last NES electric bill, it showed that we had service with them since June 7, 1978!

It was a tough decision to close but all good things must come to an end.

My grandfather, Lorrain Lee Flanary, was one of the founders of Flanary Mays School of Hair Design on Church St. in Nashville and served in WWII.
