Man haven't done a "laxer" in a minute but it was fun!

A myth about relaxers are most people keep them in too long it should be a 13-15 minute process.

Just enough time to apply to the new growth smooth in a s shampoo out .

Leaving it in until it "burn" is over processing the hair which causes breakage.

They are meant the relax your curl not be bone straight and damage the hair !!!

No shade to them, well maybe a little🤣 but most people go to them for the convenience of being able to walk in and get their hair done.

But the heat damage don't bother yall??

The damage is permanent because the protein bonds in the hair break so it has to be CUT or TRIMMED out!!

So is it worth it?

The hair has to be protected properly and heating tools shouldn't be prolonged on the hair (like when they're blow drying it).
