Yesterday a horrible accident happened on the beach beside us. Jamie saw the distress of the family beside us rushing in the water and immediately went into “life saving action “ she summoned all of us into action. Jeff went barreling into the ocean following a man on a surfboard, had our friend calling 911 (luckily we know our mile post). Jeff and the person with the surfboard got the man on the board swimming him to shore as several others came to help in the breakers and immediately started CPR for what seem hours.

Jamie and her ability do what needs to be done under extreme pressure, Jeff’s strong swimming ocean skills and unwavering speed when someone is in need, Jake thinking of the kids and keeping them from seeing the trauma, Jake’s friend taking action to get 911 to the seen and helping shield Jamie the doctor, nurse, and family members working hard to save this man’s life from the sun, was not enough for god to take him yesterday.

Yesterday was a moment in time when people came together to fight for a life as if it were our own loved ones.

My heart goes out to the wife whom could not grasp this situation she kept saying “my husband is a strong swimmer he swims everyday farther distances then this” my prayers are with the family, the bystanders who jumped in to help. To the people with me on this vacation that all did their part as they witnessed this tragedy.

Hindsight the only thing that could have made a difference is never swim alone even if you are in the best conditions, pay attention to your surroundings, be mindful of the ocean. LASTLY BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY YOU HAVE!!

While on my trip this tree decided to land on the salon/my home, we are working with insurance and finding roofing companies to fix everything. I will be working on my schedule this coming week as far as putting my book back together. As of this Saturday I am taking some much needed time off! I will be sharing my adventures soon. My plan is to reset and recharge! I have temporarily turned my book off I look forward to what this month holds! Have a great summer!!! 😇
