Hello, hello my beautiful people! 🤍
I’m sure you have all gotten word that Salons in Umatilla county are able to open as of today! I, however, won’t be starting back up until Monday.

I am so excited to see all of you again! But, it may look a tad bit different next time you’re in my chair.
Here are few things you should for your next appointment with me.

Masks are required- on you and on me. (I will be providing masks for you)

Please do not bring any children, friends, or anyone else to your appointment.

No walk ins - scheduled appointments only.

No waiting area, magazines, coffee, tea, or water dispenser.

If you arrive early - please wait in your car and I will let you know when I am ready for you.

We will be maintaining social distancing as much as possible.

Please, have patience with me as I start rescheduling all of you. I will be rescheduling my appointments in the order that I had to cancel them. I then, will go through my list of people that need in that didn’t have an appointment. It may be a ways out, but I promise I will get you scheduled! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message/text me! I love you guys!! Can’t wait to see you! 😍

As most of you know, with the orders put in place as of Tuesday, I can no longer provide my services as your hairdresser (until further notice). It saddens me that it came to this, but when this is all over, you better believe I’m ready to tackle all of your hair needs!

With that being said, please bear with me as I try to get ahold of each and every one of you wonderful people that have upcoming appointments. However, I have no idea when I will be able to be back at work.

We will take it day by day and figure it out together! I just ask for your patience and understanding that, yes, you will probably have 2-3 inches of grow out by the end of this, and that’s okay! I won’t judge! 😜

I have a last minute color opening Thursday 10/24 at 10:00. Let me know if you want to take it! 💇🏻🎨

Here’s what I’ve been up to the past month!

I am loving being back at work and getting to be creative again! 🎨

I am so SO very happy to announce that hairbykourt is back in business!💥 okay, well, I won’t be back until August 7th. But I can’t contain my excitement to get my hands in some hair again! I feel like a part of me has been missing for the last 3 months! 😭

I do have a few things I wanted to share and get out in the open with all of you first. This is something I’ve put tons of thought into and is something that is long overdue!

Sometimes I forget that my job is actually a business because it’s like second nature to me. It’s embedded into who I am. I love the creativity, the art, the empowerment of making people feel beautiful and confident. People put their full trust into me when they sit in my chair, and to me that is an incredible feeling.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s okay to make changes to my growing business. Whether it be schedule changes or price changes. Sometimes it’s okay to be strict. It’s okay to say no. I know how much work I’ve put in to get to where I am and I won’t let my time and effort go unseen.

This is my pride and joy. The thing I’ve invested so much time and money on. This thing that brings me so much happiness and confidence in. Sometimes I neglect the fact that this is NOT a hobby, but my career. This is what helps support my family. This is what gives me the freedom I need to be able to be there for my family.

I refuse to remain to go-with-the-flow when it comes to my career. I will start taking every action necessary to keep my business flourishing. Whether it be going to more education courses, hair shows, talking more to other stylists, keeping up with the ever growing industry itself. And DEFINITELY keeping up with this whole social media thing. 😆
And because of that, comes my first small change. There will be a small increase in starting price on all of my services.

I have a new reason to wake up everyday and succeed. I will always be a mom first. Everything I do, I do for her.
My new schedule:
Monday-Thursday: 10-6
Every OTHER Saturday: 9-4
And I am now taking appointments for when I return!

I hope everyone can understand my need for a change and I can’t wait to see everyone! 💇🏻‍♀️💜

As many of you know, my husband and I are expecting our first little bundle of joy in May!🌻 👶🏻

Now that it's getting closer, I've been getting very busy at the salon! My schedule is filling up fast! Everyone is wanting in before baby makes his/her appearance and I head out on maternity leave.

I will be taking about 2-2.5 months off from work after baby is born.

Make sure to make your appointment now, if you are wanting in before baby is born, because I am booked up to the 2nd week of April as of right now!
