October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.

There are multiple types of abuse that fall under the category of Domestic Violence physical, s3xual, emotional, mental and financial and it's not easy to recognize mental, emotional and financial abuse. These types of abuse often begin, much like other types of abuse, slowly. Small actions or minor disagreements that eventually become very aggressive.

These occurrences don't seem concerning at first, but eventually you realize that your entire life is controlled by your abuser. You are trapped.

No access to funds.
Low or no self-esteem.
Most likely, isolated from family and friends.

And maybe, you know you need to get out, leave, get away, but you don't know how or where.

These curls look amazing at any length and were walk-out ready with barely a refresh to reset the curls after this Express Cut with Laurie. But wait - what's a Refresh? And how, why?

Refreshing your Curls is just fixing your curls so that you don't need to do a full wash and style everyday.

Not everyone refreshes and not everyone that does refresh will do it all the time. It's more about finding what you like and how you want your curls to look and feel. AND how much time you have to get ready.
