✈️🐶 Rescue flight complete.

A group of 16 rescued beagles from Ridglan Farms safely arrived at their destination Saturday night after being flown out of Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport by Pilots To The Rescue. ❤️

The mission was coordinated alongside Second Chance Rescue as part of the ongoing effort to relocate approximately 1,500 beagles released from the Wisconsin breeding facility.

The 16 puppies aboard the rescue flight landed safely in New Jersey, while:
🐾 Another 30 dogs traveled by van to New York
🐾 16 more were transported to Virginia

Pilot August Lim described the experience as deeply emotional.

“I was happy to play a part in it. It was emotional for everyone involved knowing how hard people worked to reach this day,” he said.

The massive rescue operation began after Ridglan Farms agreed to sell 1,500 dogs to:
❤️ Big Dog Ranch Rescue
❤️ Center for a Humane Economy

While many of the beagles will remain in Wisconsin for rehabilitation and adoption, others are now beginning journeys to shelters, foster homes, and future families across the country. 🐶✨

For many of these dogs, it may be the first time they have:
🌱 Walked on grass
🏡 Experienced a home
❤️ Received consistent affection
🚗 Traveled toward freedom instead of confinement

And for everyone involved in the rescue, Saturday’s flight represented far more than transportation.

It represented a new beginning.
