The Refinery Hiawassee

Lots of questions about hormones lately, so let's go over what actually happens at a hormone assessment!

Our foundational assessment is about much more than looking at a single lab value. We look at the whole picture:

✨ Your symptoms (energy, sleep, mood, brain fog, libido, weight changes, hot flashes, changes in strength, etc.)

✨ Your health history, medications, supplements and current concerns

✨ Comprehensive lab work based on your individual needs

✨ A one-on-one review of your results so you can understand what they mean and how they relate to the way you’re feeling

✨ A personalized treatment plan, when appropriate

It's important to know that treatment isn't automatically hormone replacement. Depending on what we find, your plan may include hormones, but it could also include lifestyle changes, supplements, medication, or sometimes simply monitoring.

If you're interested in booking a foundational assessment, send us a message, text/call (706) 994-8438 or schedule online. 🤍

The best compliment is sending someone you love our way. 🥰

For every friend you refer who schedules and completes a visit, you'll receive a $25 credit as our way of saying thank you for trusting us enough to share The Refinery with your people. 🤍

Copenhagen was good to me. 🤍

I rested, walked approximately a million miles, ate very well, and drank entirely too much coffee.

And now I'm back at The Refinery and ready to see your faces again.

Vacation was wonderful, but I really do love what I get to come home to. 🫶

A little change of scenery. ✈️

We're trading The Refinery for Copenhagen for a few days.

I'll share a little along the way. 🤍

Because living longer is great, but feeling good enough to enjoy those years matters too.

More years with strength. More years with energy. More years of sleeping well, thinking clearly, moving comfortably, and doing the things you love.

That's the kind of aging we're interested in!

Sometimes the answer is better skin. Sometimes it's restoring support in a different area. Sometimes it's a little tox, collagen stimulation, or simply giving your face a break.

And sometimes? The answer is doing nothing at all.

Good aesthetics isn't about adding volume everywhere we see a line. It's about understanding why something has changed and choosing the treatment that makes sense to create results that look balanced and natural.

Testosterone isn't just for men.

Hormone therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. We look at your symptoms, health history, goals, and labs to decide whether treatment is appropriate for you.

And when it is? There are several options, including convenient testosterone pellets that provide a slow, sustained release without having to remember a daily medication.

You can't out-protein a broken metabolism.

Protein matters. A lot.

It helps preserve muscle, supports satiety, and is especially important during weight loss.

But when you're hitting your protein goal, taking your medication, and doing “all the right things”, another protein shake may not be the answer.

That's when we start looking at the bigger picture.

Weight management should be more than a prescription and a protein goal.

A little Sunday reminder: take care of yourself!

Rest. Reset. Hydrate. Move your body. Get outside. Do something that makes you feel good.

Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated!

Here’s to starting the week feeling a little more restored. 🫶

When it comes to injectables, we are big believers in doing enough, but not too much.

Our goal is to provide results that look natural and balanced. The best injectables are undetectable. 😉
