This update is one that I’ve been dreading, but also one I’ve been looking forward to. I have made the decision to not book any new clients for Men’s haircuts or children’s haircuts. If you are an existing client I will still offer that service to you. I am chasing my joy and services that I am truly passionate about which means I need to allow more room in my schedule for that. As a stylist I do care deeply about my clients and I would never want someone to think I “hate” doing there hair 😂 I just have other services that I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to more!

Regarding the price increase, I don’t think this needs much explanation, but with the recent worldwide event, we have seen a significant price increase in our hair supplies!! I also invest in continuing education to keep up to date in the services I offer! Expect a 5-10% increase coming in January!

💙 talks clean vs dirty hair before an appointment ⬇️

Once Upon A Time long long ago, There was a terrible rumor that dirty hair makes color take better. To all fairy hair mothers dismay it became part of common knowledge, though it’s simply not true.

Now I’m not saying wash your hair right before your service. A day or so dirty isn’t an issue. But anything further than that can impact your color service and sometimes your cutting service. I can see how maybe at some point when chemical services were harsher a little extra dirt was protecting for your scalp and hair. But products now are soo much gentler and those natural oils can make it harder for our products to get to your hair. Making our results less predictable and more difficult for giving you the hair you want.
