Hormonal hair loss, stress, sickness, and emotional hair decisions.
It’s something we don’t talk about enough, especially as women, and yet I hear about it from clients all the time.
After having babies, going through my divorce, and making a few emotionally charged chemical decisions with my hair (been there), I found myself two years ago losing hair in clumps. I felt bald, insecure, and honestly just… heartbroken.
Since then, I’ve poured myself into learning everything I can—from scalp health to hormones, product ingredients to stress cycles—and have gone through a lot of trial and error trying to find what actually works to support strong, healthy regrowth.
I’m happy to report my hair is growing back. But I reached a place where cutting it made the most sense to continue encouraging its health and growth.
We don’t talk about this enough. The postpartum hair changes, the breakage from stress, the identity shifts that happen when we don’t feel like ourselves. But this is not just your story. It’s all of ours in some way.
If you’re going through a season like this, you’re not alone.
I see you. I support you. And I’d love to help you navigate it—both behind the chair and through education.
Let’s keep normalizing these conversations.

For a long time, I thought success meant being booked solid, hitting big numbers, and always chasing the next milestone.
But the deeper I go in this career, the more I’ve realized that real success—sustainable success—feels different.
Success looks like feeling proud of how you showed up.
It looks like meaningful conversations with clients.
Like mentoring a newer stylist and watching them step into their confidence.
Like knowing when to slow down, reset, and take care of yourself too.
Don’t get me wrong—I love a full book and big goals. But I also know that peace, alignment, and purpose behind the chair matter just as much.
However you define success right now—I see you. And I’m cheering you on.

Sometimes it’s the tiniest wins that remind me just how far I’ve come.
It could be mastering a new technique, feeling a little more confident with a client, or even just making it through a long day and still having energy for my family. Every little step forward means something—and honestly, those small wins are what add up to real growth.
So today, I want to celebrate the little things.
If you’ve had a small win this week, no matter how tiny, I hope you’ll drop it in the comments so we can cheer each other on. I’ll start: I managed my schedule and energy more intentionally so that I could show up more present and focused for these two.
Let’s keep lifting each other up and remembering: progress always matters.

Just a reminder: growth doesn’t have a deadline.
I used to think I had to have it all figured out, right out of school—or that success meant moving at someone else’s pace. But real talk? There’s no timeline for becoming the stylist or leader you want to be.
Some days you’ll feel on fire. Some days, not so much. Both are normal. Every season counts.
Wherever you are—learning, growing, stretching, or just catching your breath—you’re right on time.
If you needed this today, you’re not alone.

I didn’t always see myself as a leader.
But somewhere along the way, I realized that leadership isn’t about being the best — it’s about showing up with consistency, humility, and the willingness to grow and guide others as you grow.
I’m still learning and evolving every day.
But now, I get to pour back into other stylists — and honestly, that’s one of the best parts of this career.
If you’re just starting your journey, stay open, stay curious, and let people pour into your potential. Let mentorship in. You’re never meant to do this alone — and I promise, it’s way more fun when you find your people!
Tag someone who’s inspired your growth or believed in you before you believed in yourself.

Cosmetology school lays the foundation — but what comes next? That’s where the real growth begins.
When I was a baby stylist, I remember feeling equal parts excited and overwhelmed. I had the license, the tools, and the dreams… but I didn’t yet have the confidence or direction.
I’ve been so blessed to have had incredible mentors along the way — people who saw something in me, guided me, and believed in me even when I didn’t fully believe in myself yet.
And now? It’s my turn to do the same for others.
Confidence isn’t just a feeling — it’s something you build with the right support system, a strong salon culture, and people willing to pour into your potential.
That’s why I’m here.
To help bridge the gap between school and salon life.
To raise up the next generation of stylists with courage, clarity, and community.
To remind you: You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
If you’re a student, a new stylist, or someone craving mentorship in this industry — this space is for you.
Let’s rise together.

This isn’t just a career. It’s a calling.
For the past 12 years, I’ve stood behind the chair helping people feel seen, beautiful, and empowered — and in that process, I found my deeper purpose.
I’m here for more than great hair. I’m here to mentor, to lead, and to bridge the gap between beauty school and real salon life.
To guide the next generation of stylists with honesty, confidence, and heart.
To build community, not competition.
To create spaces where growth and grace go hand in hand.
This page is where I’ll share the real, the inspiring, and the behind-the-scenes of what it means to grow in this industry — not just as a stylist, but as a woman with vision.
So whether you’re just starting out, craving mentorship, or simply love the beauty world — welcome.
Let’s rise together.

I recently joined a kickboxing gym and decided to just hit the ground running with a 6 week challenge. As apart of the challenge I get to work with a coach; this week my coach asked me what my “why” was.
It feels like it should be a simple an answer. But as I’ve sat with it this week here’s where I’ve landed and what I shared with her: In full transparency this whole thing started as a therapeutic outlet of rediscovery post divorce, so I feel like my “why” is complex. I think when I get to the root of it my “why” is me. For so long I felt stuck in the misery of my reality and felt like I was unable to actually achieve the things I wanted to in life. So now it feels super personal. It’s for that past version of myself and it’s for my girls because I want them to see that life can still be so good and we get to choose how we show up to our lives.
The world gives us enough reasons to hate ourselves and be afraid. I’m personally tired of being the biggest thing standing in my way of creating an authentic, intentional, disciplined and joyful life. What goals are you working towards right now or what silly little dream do you keep brushing off? Cheering you on as I face my own junk. ♥️
