After more than 5 years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the salon.

In a community where many businesses don’t make it past their first year, I’m incredibly proud that we made it over 5 years. This salon was built from the ground up with a lot of heart, hard work, & determination. But this past year has been one of my biggest struggles. The reality of rising expenses has made it impossible to continue, especially with power bills reaching as high as $980 during the fall & winter months. The power bill alone has been extremely difficult to keep up with.

Another truth about the beauty industry that many people don’t see is how inconsistent & unpredictable it can be. Behind the scenes, it can be one of the most unstable lines of work, & after years of pouring everything I had into this business, I’ve reached a point where I’m simply exhausted from the uncertainty.

To all of my loyal clients who supported me through the years, thank you. Your kindness & support have meant more to me than you know.

As for what’s next for me, I have a full spring & summer tour ahead of me working in the modeling industry, with several jobs already booked for the upcoming seasons. The past 3 years I’ve made more money though the modeling industry then at the salon. Which tells me all i need to know about the direction I need to move towards. When modeling season slows down, I plan to join another nail salon in a different town where there is a busier customer base & a more reliable income.

The offical last open day for the salon is May 2nd (prom). May 3rd doors will be locked.

The tanning bed will be closed this spring & summer.

❤️🤍💙I am going to be blocking off the parking lot tonight at 4:00 with cones and rope due to the playoffs at Midland Trail High school. If anyone would like to park in my parking lot, I will reserve a parking space for you. The fee will be $5. Parents get first priority, of course but if you are wanting to attend the game tonight, please message me ahead of time as I can imagine these parking spaces will go fast. I will be there to remove the cone and rope when you arrive. I accept Venmo, cash app, PayPal. Please message me ASAP.  if you arrive after 6:45 your space will be given to first come first serve and I will return your money.

The players will be allowed to park their vehicles in my grass for free. Please call ahead of time so that I can show the boys where to park to avoid parking on top of waterlines. ❤️🤍💙
