Wash Day w/ Boo #2 😩 He wasn’t feeling it. At all. He has NEVER done me like this before, lol. I want to loc his hair but I feel like it might be too early. Should I wait? He’s 1. Have any of yall started your baby’s locs this early?

Tried this new style on my sissss using feather crochet hair from .co!! Definitely cut the time in half & it’s giving BOHOOOO 🙌🏾 Can you tell it’s crochet? I can’t! btw this is the kinky curly texture in 18” 🤸🏽

If you’re keeping your boho braids in for 6 to 8 weeks or longer, you HAVE to treat your hair like it’s still your real hair. I I don’t go more than 2 weeks without washing and conditioning mine. Hydration is everything, especially with curly textures like Curvy Wave. When the hair is moisturized, it stays soft, defined, and low maintenance. When it’s dry, that’s when tangling and frustration start.

I also always follow up with a deep hydrating mask because this texture thrives when it’s nourished. That’s how I’m able to keep my installs looking fresh for over 2 months.

How often are you washing your boho braids right now? And be honest. 🩷

I’ve always been so nervous to get another sew in because of previous bad experiences. One thing I’m not gonna do is sacrifice my real hair for a look. So I’m quick to take something out if I feel like it’s damaging my hair. This is my first sew in that actually feels good! I’m excited to see how long it lasts and take y’all with me as I keep up my hair. I have 4c natural hair that is very rarely straightened so I am natural natural! Throughout this process, I will be trying different products, mainly focusing on keeping my hair healthy as well as protecting it from heat and humidity. I’m in love so far and this might have just turned me into a sew in girly. I’m wearing about 3 1/2 18 inch bundles from .co ! These are the Raw Vietnamese Straight bundles, 10/10 👌🏽

Medium Human Hair Braids ft. 3 Curly bundles from .co. We used a teeny bit of braiding hair for extra support in thinner areas. These turned out so pretttttty. Do you like the wet or dry look most? 🩷
