The moment when you realize that new beginnings are on the horizon and it’s amazing. Yet you then realize the two people that you’ve had along side you for a while as you took every step of faith are literally no longer here. 😩😭Jesus, I’m so grateful and thankful but it hurts the most because I feel like I’m moving forward without them. Like this feels unreal that I’m literally walking in what I prayed for but it hurts. Staying in Spiritual Shape

When Paul wrote 1 Timothy 4:8, he acknowledged something we all probably know at heart—physical health matters.

In Paul's time, athletic training was a sign of discipline and strength. Today, we also recognize how sleep, nutrition, and exercise impact our well-being. Taking care of our bodies is important because they are a gift from God.

But Paul reminds us that while physical training has value, it’s not enough on its own. We need something more—something deeper that sustains us beyond the ups and downs of life. That something is godliness.

Godliness isn’t just about avoiding bad habits. It’s about shaping our lives around God’s presence and purpose. Just as physical training strengthens our bodies, spiritual training—through prayer, Scripture, and obedience—strengthens our souls.

When we seek Him first, we discover that godliness doesn’t just prepare us for eternity, it also transforms how we live right now. A healthy life—mentally, physically, and spiritually—starts with seeking Him first.

Father, I thank you for your grace and mercy. I thank you for allowing me to see another faithful friday. I thank you for showing me that I am never alone, and you are with me. I thank you not letting me give up, no matter what storm may come my way. Father please strengthen me, I want to run my race well. I'm throwing off everything that hinders and running to You. Father continue to order my steps, keep me steadfast, unmoveable, anshakened. I thank You for meeting me right where i am. I thank you for your divine strength, and protection as i continue to walk this journey with you in Jesus mighty name Amen.
