Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to the community in hopes of finding anyone who might have any information about a hit-and-run accident. On Wednesday, January 22, around 3:30 PM, a black vehicle was involved in a crash on a curve on County Route 105, between Ridge Road and Dennis Drive, in Highland Mills, NY. The black vehicle was traveling westbound and appeared to take the curve too fast, striking another vehicle traveling eastbound on County Route 105 toward Route 32. The struck vehicle’s airbags deployed, making it difficult to determine the exact type of the fleeing vehicle (whether it was a sedan, SUV, or truck) besides the color.

The driver of the black vehicle, a male, sustained damage also on the driver’s side and fled the scene, continuing westbound. A witness on scene who stopped to assist stated that the fleeing driver appeared to be intoxicated.
