Ted talk for today…

You know…Not everyone is going to like you or what you do or how you do it, etc.. And you know what, I am more than ok with that. I absolutely love what I do and care about my clients and that’s all that matters. I go to work, work my tail off and then go home to my family.

Not everyone will like the way I cut or what I use to cut with. I use a vacuum system with my clippers and some people like it and some don’t. If you don’t, then that’s fine and I don’t need to hear your opinions. I am what they call a perfectionist so yes I’m not going to let you out of my chair unless I know I love the cut myself and know I did my absolute best on it. If you don’t like it, then tell me. You won’t hurt my feelings. I will do better next time or yet, you choose to not come back. Either way, that’s ok with me. I take pride in what I do so please remember that.

There may be days when I talk your ear off in my chair and then there may be days where I don’t say a dang thing except for hello and how are you. Who doesn’t have a blah day here and there lol! I promise it’s nothing against you, it just happens at times especially with two littles!! Don’t take it personal!

Here’s something that gets my blood boiling though…please don’t ever come into my shop whether you are sitting in a waiting chair or in my chair and start bashing another hairstylist or barber to me. You will never hear me bash them back to you. I don’t care if I don’t like the person or not, I will never bash anyone else around here that does hair. To be completely honest, I don’t even know more than half of them around here but yet, I will send people their way all the time. I am all about sharing and helping each other out. I’m not here to take over the town. That was never my intention. I love what I do and wanted to have my own space after working for someone for 10 years. I’ve now been cutting men’s hair for 14 years! So please don’t come to me to bash someone else because that’s just not ok with me…just act like a grown adult in my chair! You can bash me all you want, to my face, to someone else, whatever you want to do but trust me, I will keep doing what I’m doing and go on about my day! Hey, I may laugh about it! If that’s what makes you happy, then go for it! You won’t ruin me, trust me! I’ve got some thick skin friend!

I am a very nice person and would do anything and everything for anyone so I just ask for that in return! And no, I am not making this at any specific person, it’s just been something that’s happened in the 4 years I have been in my own shop here and I just get tired of things and sometimes people just need to let things out for people to hear and maybe it will get back to those people and maybe they will change!

Good Morning!!

I just want to say thank you so much for such and incredibly busy week this past week! It’s been a while since I have made an appreciation post and I really am thankful for each and every one of you that come to see me for a haircut or beard trim or both! You have no idea how much it truly means to me to keep me going and in business! I am so sorry to the ones that have to leave and come back because it’s to busy or I can’t get to you that day but you coming back means alot!
