Blow Dry Assistant / Styling Assistant Role

✨ Flexible, On-Call Position

We are looking for a reliable Blow Dry & Styling Assistant to help support high-volume color services and improve salon flow during busy times.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Loves styling and beauty
Can work flexible hours
Is building clientele or experience
Enjoys a fast-paced salon environment
Can work as part of a team without drama or ego

Responsibilities

Shampoo clients
Apply toners/glosses when directed
Blow dry and style clients after color services
Assist with brushes, prep, and salon flow
Maintain cleanliness of styling areas
Help create a relaxing, elevated client experience

Scheduling

This is an on-call / as-needed position.

Assistants are scheduled based on:

Client volume
Color booking days
Events or busy weeks
Owner/stylist demand

Some weeks may have more hours than others. Flexibility is important.

Ability to work efficiently during busy periods
Respect for salon systems and scheduling
Must understand this role supports the salon’s operational needs first

Important Notes

This is not a guaranteed full-time schedule.
Assistants are brought in specifically when support is needed for salon operations and guest flow.

The goal of this role is to:

🫧 create smoother salon days for everyone
