I think we're long overdue for a proper introduction.... Hello there, I'm Elizabeth ✨ the maker and do-er of (most) things here at Solstice Soap Co! I’m proud to offer my herbal bath and body care, handmade in small batches with a lot of love and care.

I’m a proud mom of two girls, who are always around behind the scenes and are my biggest "why". When I'm not working, we're off on some sort of an adventure - big or small.

I built this business from scratch during the most difficult time of my life, so that I could be at home and provide for my girls. This business has transformed along with the rest of my life over the past several years, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come.

This business and my products are a living thing and we're on this journey together. I'm always learning, growing and tweaking - continually striving to do better and be better.

At the core of this business is a desire to create simple, all natural skincare that is safe and healthy for the entire family. I want to offer non-toxic solutions you can reach for over and over again and feel good about putting on your skin.

This morning’s harvest of Calendula and a few Marshmallow flowers 🌼 I’ll dehydrate them and use it throughout the year in my oil infusions and herbal creations. Calendula is by far my favorite herb. I just love the way it smells, and how soothing and healing it is. It’s also so beautiful!

Hi friend,

I hope you're finding little ways to enjoy this beautiful (and very hot!) summer.

Around here, I've been taking life a little slower than usual. Both of my girls are home for summer break, and we've been stepping away from our normal routine to soak up these fleeting summer days together. We've been spending more time outside, making memories, and simply enjoying being together.

Because of that, I'm a little behind on soap production (thank you for your patience!), but the good news is that our tallow skincare and body care collections are fully stocked and ready to ship.

One of my favorite parts of each month is putting together the Self Care Club boxes. I don’t normally give sneak peeks of what’s inside the next Self Care Club box because I love the surprise… but I’m making an exception this month.

July's box includes a beautifully handcrafted lavender sachet from our friends at Turtlepointe Workshop right here in Highland, Michigan. I love tucking lavender sachets into dresser drawers and linen closets—they leave everything smelling fresh and bring a little moment of calm every time you open a drawer.

New for Summer: DIY Swim Spray Kit ☀️

If your family spends lots of time at the pool, I created something just for you.

Our new DIY Swim Spray Kit makes it easy to create your own vitamin C spray that helps neutralize chlorine after swimming. Simply mix the included vitamin C powder with water in the reusable glass spray bottle, mist your skin and hair after swimming, and rinse or let it dry naturally.

It's a simple way to help reduce that dry, tight feeling chlorine can leave behind while caring for your skin all summer long.

Surviving the Heat Wave

If you're here in Michigan, you've probably been feeling this heat wave!

One product that's been getting a lot of use around our house is our Deodorant Cream. It's designed for more than just underarms—you can use it anywhere you'd like a little extra freshness, including underarms, under the bust, inner thighs, feet, or anywhere skin tends to get warm and sweaty.

Unlike many natural deodorants, ours is made without baking soda or aluminum, making it gentle for sensitive skin. Instead, arrowroot powder helps absorb moisture while magnesium helps create an environment that's less friendly to odor-causing bacteria.

It's become one of my summer essentials. It's portable and great for travel.
