Moodoris® is the world's first color changing contact lens. The name Moodoris® Lens was derived from a patent pending process by AmBLite Technology.
A new technology was created comprising a spherically curved liquid crystal film that can be embedded in a contact lens. Although the technology cannot be used yet for corrective vision, other cosmetic applications such as a temperature “mood” altering color changing iris is possible.
