How did shear work save my craft? Well, everyone can pick up the clippers. But it takes true talent and skill to pick up, section, & use proper shear techniques to deliver elegant results. Think about it. Have you ever clipper over combed and removed too much bulk and it ends up looking like a military cut? We’ve all been there we’ve taken the comb and told, “just do it this way it’s faster and you get clients out of your chair faster.” Sacrificing quality for quantity was not how I wanted to approach my craft. And I was not going to ruin people’s head shapes. When i finally had enough not knowing how to approach sectioning and learning the anatomy of people’s head shapes, that’s when I invested thousands of dollars into a program something that schools never taught properly. Now I am able to deliver what I thought was impossible, possible. Fully understanding growth patterns, to head shapes and using shapes to deliver the desired haircuts for my clients to leave with confidence and feel like the experience was there 🧬 🧠
