Behind the blue roots on this sunset (Sabine Ren) colored hair is a story of sensitivity.

Sometimes during a color appointment you have to be adaptable.

Both as a client and as a stylist.

These roots were not supposed to be blue originally. 😬

But, when my client ended up being sensitive to the lightener being on her scalp we chose comfort and safety over the original plan.

Since the roots didn't get a chance to get to where we needed them to put the purple all the way up, we pivoted! 🛋

Just like in life - sometimes there's going to be a wrench thrown into well laid plans.
