WE REJECT MASKED AGENTS STEALING OUR NEIGHBORS AWAY! I’m doing a raffle for one week raising funds for neighborhood mutual aid in MPLS/St. Paul (a beloved place to me, an amazing hub of radical resistance) and also for our organizers here at home - any raised funds will go 50/50 to MN and NC. Enter to win a 75 min massage with me, and let’s say no to 🧊 in our communities! Venmo me at earthboundbodywork - I will close raffle on Sunday 2/1 and announce winner on Monday 2/2! The odds are always in our favor when we come together. Love yall so much

HAPPY 6 YEARS TO EARTHBOUND BODYWORK! over 6 years experience as a bodyworker, and celebrating our sixth time round the sun as my own business. I started taking private clients early on in my time as a bodyworker because that was where I felt deeper connection and purpose with my clients. My intention is to always have sessions feel collaborative and unrushed, to listen deeply to what my client is experiencing and create a session that can serve them, allowing for internal listening, nervous system regulation, and affirmation and union between body and Self. I love all of you and am thankful for the continued opportunity to serve you! Bodywork as collective care! ✨💚

Thanks a million to everyone who participated in the raffle to raise money for my dog Turtle’s big orthopedic surgery. 🐢🐢🐢We raised almost $1300, which was more than I ever dreamed we could raise! Turtle and I have felt so supported by the check ins, encouragement and incredible generosity of every one of you. The two winners in the raffle were Molly and Cydney ! You both receive one free 75 minute massage from me! I will reach out to both of you individually! Turtle is two days out of surgery and doing well. Today he was actually pretty energetic and within the next few days we expect him to begin putting weight on his leg.

My dog Turtle is the mascot of Earthbound Bodywork and one of my great spiritual teachers. He tore the cruciate ligament in his knee two weeks ago and will go in for a TPLO surgery to stabilize the knee next Wednesday. The surgery is estimated to be $5000, and I’ve already spent $1500 on lab testing, imaging and cardiology in preparation for surgery. So, I’m running a lil raffle to raise funds for his vet bills - I will be giving away two 75 minute massage sessions (value $125/each). The raffle will be open for a week, $10 per entry or $25 for 3. Venmo me and ensure your name or some way to contact you is attached with your entry (all my Venmo transactions are private). I will announce the winners next Friday, 10/10. That will be two days after Turtle’s surgery. I appreciate all good vibes for my sweet boy! Booking a session with me in the next month would also be supportive. I don’t expect to raise the full amount for the surgery but every little bit helps! If you can’t contribute monetarily, I appreciate shares of this post. Thank you! Turtle and I love yall!

Another year, another picture of me blowing out a candle! YES, Earthbound Bodywork turned 5️⃣ recently!
I’ve been thinking with gratitude on what a blessing that bodywork at the center of my life has been to me. For one, it’s given me a beautiful community of clients who put their trust in me, and a circle of inspiring healers to learn from and grow with. Bodywork has taught me so much about listening to and taking care of my body (and nervous system, and mind) and that is the gift I most want to pass on to my clients - we are all innately wise to what our bodies need if given the opportunity to tune in.
I‘ve also been reflecting on what being in private practice specifically has offered me. I’ve worked for other entities, too, and I feel working for myself is where I stand in my power, and where I feel I am most respected for my craft. It’s such an expansive feeling when the service I offer comes from me as an artist, rather than simply a technician, if that makes sense. There is a lot of creativity and inspiration I get from working with people, especially when we really are able to connect.
THANKS YALL for making Earthbound Bodywork what it is- I love doing this and I am so happy to be here for you! Let’s keep showing up!

REMINDER that I am a COVID-conscious bodyworker!! That means I will ✨always✨ wear a mask in our session, though I’m comfortable with clients wearing a mask or going without. I also always have a HEPA air filter going in my treatment room.
As we move into cold and flu season, I ask clients to please RESCHEDULE if you have cold or flu symptoms, or at least let me know/ let’s have a chat before you come in. Late canceling a session is much better than getting sick and missing a week of work and school! Let’s keep each other safe! Love y’all 💙💙💙

Sometime recently we hit 600 followers‼️ so I felt a re-introduction is in order!
I’m Caroline (they/them), a nonbinary massage therapist offering bodywork from my office in Hillsborough. I have now been a bodyworker for 5 YEARS, and love how I continue to learn and grow in this profession. I live in Hillsborough and love small town life (I’m an introvert), working on my garden, swimming in the Eno, and walking with my dogs.
Fun fact, I used to be an organic vegetable farmer and got into massage to manage the physical demands of that work. I was amazed at how helpful massage could be in managing chronic issues and resolving acute pains, so when I decided to move on from agriculture this felt like a great next step! I work with all kinds of bodies, and especially love providing a nonjudgmental space for q***r folks, fat folks, BIPOC, and folks with chronic pain to experience healing. I view bodywork as a collaborative effort with my clients and my goal is for you to feel more in touch and comfortable in your body. I specialize in deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal/postpartum massage and I also do bodywork on infants! Would love to talk more about any of these modalities if you have questions about them/ whether they would be helpful for you! I work on a sliding scale to make my work more accessible.
The BIG NEWS with me recently is that I’ve gone back to school this fall to be a nurse! I am in a two year program that i am loving so far, and it’s changing my availability somewhat, which actually means I now have more evening times available (for those who that works better for), and I continue to have sessions on weekends.
Booking a session with me would be a great way to support me as I start my nursing school journey! As many of you know, going to school is expensive.
I am trying to grow my business, so would also appreciate it if you would share this post with some words about your experience working with me! If we haven’t worked together yet, I hope to see you soon!
💚💚 Caroline
