Happy 11 year anniversary to Glam Salon. To say that we have been blessed beyond measure all these years, would be an understatement. It’s hard to believe it’s been 11 years since we opened the doors to the salon. We are forever grateful to all of our clients. You continue to make this dream a reality. Happy Halloween from Glam Salon. It was our first year doing Halloween shirts instead of costumes. Not as exciting, but still just as fun. and

Thank you for being a loyal client and putting your much valued trust in Glam Salon all these years.

Although we have tried our best to keep the expenses low, our operating costs and product expenses have increased significantly due to global factors in recent times.

After carefully reviewing finances, we have made an extremely tough decision of increasing our prices for all of our services to be closer to that of the other salons in the area.
The change will be effective September 18th 2023.

As always, we are striving to evolve and improve our services. The price increase will help us to introduce new features and products and serve you better. New price list will be available soon in salon.

Today is such a special day for Glam Salon. We have officially been here for 10 years!

For those of you that don’t know, I started this business one day before my 23rd birthday. I was absolutely terrified. We had two weeks to throw together a full salon. There was blue carpet, cheap wood paneling and lime green walls (even some lime green ceilings). It was a mess. My whole family and I worked night and day to revamp and get things ready for inspections.

Some how, after a lot of prayer, it came together.

I can honestly say, a ton of sweat, no sleep, and lots of stress and tears went into it.
It was so worth it though. It was the best move I ever made.
I was blessed that Mary Alice Latta followed me after working together at another salon. We were busy from the start. Our first day, our salon chairs weren’t in yet and we had to do cuts in basic front desk chairs. Our clients were so understanding and amazing. It all worked out. Our client, Jack Frans gave us our first dollar bill, which we framed and put up. It still holds such a special memory in our hearts.
We knew we had finally done it. We stepped out of our comfort zone and went for it. I’m so glad we did! We were worried people wouldn’t follow, and now we are so busy, we can’t even take on new clients. Never thought we would say that!

Time may flying, but if the next ten are as good as the past ten, we will be doing just fine.

We are so thankful for your continued support of our female owned business! You all have been with us through so much and we are forever grateful for each and every one of you! Here’s to many more years with you all!

Spring weather has us thinking blonde thoughts 💕

It’s been way too long since we posted anything. As some of you know, our fb had been compromised, so we were not able to post. We are finally back on here and excited for the New Year! Hoping 2023 brings lots of joy to all of you! What are some of y’all’s New years goals and resolutions? We think self care and treating yourself to more hair services should definitely be one of them! 😜

The light of this world shines a little dimmer tonight, as heaven gained a very special angel. A woman who exuberated style and grace, Carolyn L. Cates, you will truly be missed. We will miss your smile, your funny jokes and your constant positivity here at the salon. You always could light up a room. We love you dearly, sweet friend. We are sending love and prayers to the large amount of people, whose hearts you have touched and are also hurting tonight as they mourn such a terrible and tragic loss. Shine bright friend. You will forever be in our hearts.
