I get asked a question often, and my response is not a sexy one, and my approach is most often not the mainstream approach…SADLY! I cross paths with many that want to know how I lost over 120 pounds and reinvented a broken life into one that is meaningfully vibrant! The answer is laid out in my image!! There are no trendy tricks to FEELING WELL FOR A LIFETIME!!!

The stares I have received this week leave me chuckling! I can only imagine what my audience must be thinking as they see me walking backwards! Not just a few steps, but 15 solid minutes at a time! It’s something I’ve recently incorporated into my wellbeing routine! It is so fun, and intriguingly challenging! The evidence reports that backwards walking can improve balance, strengthen different leg muscles, and may reduce stress on the knees. It may also help posture, coordination, and calorie burn compared with regular walking. In my experience it truly demands more concentration, and leaves me feeling wonderfully invigorated!

Recently, the landscape around me has been marked by car accidents, frightening health diagnoses, financial despair, family discord, and the harsh realities of war.
My heart feels them all deeply.
Yet, how is it that my soul remains calm?!
Not because I am strong enough on my own. Not because I have all the answers. Not because the circumstances have suddenly become easy. Not because there is a magical formula to follow!
Rather, Christ’s Presence speaks courage into my soul.
It is His fullness that enables me to face calamity without being ruled by it. It is His unwavering, conquering nature that reminds me that while the world may shake, He does not. HE REIGNS!
And, in the midst of it all, there is a peace that surpasses understanding.
A peace so unexplainable, so sweet, and mesmerizing, that it can only be Him!
HE IS ALL I EVER NEED!
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7

My mother’s gesture from across the Atlantic Ocean this morning- a love note straight from the heart of Jesus! To keep it all to myself I could not do! A vase of her roses, her message to me, and holy scripture! I pray the Love of Christ fills you in an inexplicable way today and everyday!!

We all have but ONE moment. And that moment is NOW! For the next is not guaranteed! Make the ONE matter, and revel in the joy it brings!! 🙏🏼❤️🔥
