Hinesburg Hair Studio

Chelsea here, to hijack the HHS Facebook for one last note!
I’d like to say thank you.
Thank you to all the clientele that made us part of their journey. We had a lot of laughs, and it has been nothing short of an honor to serve this community for the past 10 years.
But most of all I’d like to take a moment to say thank you to my Boss Babe, Laura. What she did here at Hinesburg Hair Studio is nothing short of extraordinary. She created a space that was truly a gift. It was joyful. It was warm. It was hysterically funny. And we did some kick butt hair while we were at it. Laura is one of the most genuine, loving, and selfless souls ever to grace this planet! And HHS carried that spirit. I can honestly say for the last nearly 10 years I was blessed to wake up every day and go to work at a place I adore, standing next to a woman I adore even more! Laura, you are a treasure and I hope you are as proud of yourself as I am of you 💚 THANKS EVERYONE I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH (I’m going to go cry now lol)
Love,
Chelsea xoxox

We’re having a fun time this week with the ladies from Ma&Pembum doing our clean-out and clear-out-sale!! ! Shout out to Elisabeth Garvey Powell for being the dang rock star she is!! This is a LOT of work!!

!!! Big indoor sale!!! We’re teaming up with the Ma&Pembum ladies to get rid of all our combined store-closing stuff!! Below is their announcement! In addition to these hours Laura will be in and out today and tomorrow and could be available! Email [email protected] to reach me!! We won’t have our big demo party on the 12th because we won’t need to demo that much… but we WILL have a pizza party! Deets soon.

Alright guys! We’re nearing our last days at Hinesburg Hair Studio! We won’t be making any more appointments here. Contact your individual favorite stylist, or both of us (we don’t know where Lynzee is going) if you need to make an appointment. And be patient as we navigate clearing out the home we’ve been in for 10 years and starting out being independent. I’m sure there’s going to be some speed bumps, we’re both still working during this whole transition time!!

And for clarity, we’re not closing cause we’re broke, we’re closing because our lease is ending.

Ok everyone!! We’re going to schedule a PARTY!! But… not really a fun one. We’re going to host a pizza party afternoon to finish cleaning out the hair salon, tentatively January 12th. There may even be some light demolition to get your stress out!!! Drink some drinks and be merry and eat some pizza (or other junk food) and smash the crap out of some extra walls!!! Maybe we’ll call it a Hinesburg Hair Studio funeral party. Stay tuned for details!! We’re also hosting an indoor yard sale of sorts with a special guest the week before… details coming soon!!

After nearly 10 wonderful years in Hinesburg, we are closing the doors to our salon in January. This chapter has been filled with incredible moments, countless connections, and so much growth. We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and friendships that have made this journey unforgettable.

As we say goodbye to this space, we're excited to share that each of us will be continuing our journeys independently. Online Booking has been turned off for Laura and Chelsea. If you need to see either of us, send an email, join the online waitlist, or make an appointment with Lynzee.

Thank you for being part of our story. You’ve made the past decade truly special, and we hope to see you in our new adventures!

With gratitude and love,

Laura, Chelsea, and Lynzee.

Guys!!! IT’S CHELSEA’S BIRTHDAY!!!! Wish her the happiest of all the happy birthdays. She does so much for all of us I don’t even think there’s a way to show how much appreciation we have. Nor are there words enough to express it. Just love ❤️

Our very dear friend Sharonlee Trefry passed this week. She was my (Laura) school nurse in elementary school. I had the privilege of reconnecting with her here shortly after we opened. She is absolutely without a doubt one of the kindest people I’ve ever known and she will be greatly missed.

Salon family, we would like to acknowledge the deeply felt loss of our longtime business neighbor Becky from Palmer Insurance. She was the best neighbor and so incredibly kind. She would bring us candy and chocolate from time to time and all of our kids called her Mum. We’re sorry for all the smelly perms over the years!
