Beecher Hill Yoga
Yoga for individuals and groups. Professional development and Teacher Training for mental health practitioners, educators & others who help people.
Helping individuals and communities integrate their lives physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially and spiritually through Yoga, health coaching and bodywork. Beecher Hill started as Beecher Hill Yoga in 1995, in my living room on Beecher Hill Rd, in the small town of Hinesburg, Vermont. From the beginning, our mission was to help individuals and communities integrate their lives physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially and spiritually. We believe that through that integration, we can achieve balance, vitality and well-being. Since 1995, we have been committed to making our services accessible to people of all abilities, backgrounds and experience. Since the first ‘living room’ Yoga class, Beecher Hill has grown. We’ve introduced hundreds of people to the transformative power of a simple Yoga practice. In 2005, I earned my certification in Thai Yoga Bodywork. Through Yoga-based bodywork, we’ve helped scores of people heal from stress, pain, poor body awareness, and many other physical conditions. Beecher Hill has developed an active Karma Yoga program, sponsoring benefit classes for worthy causes like UNICEF, World Food Programs and the Hinesburg Food Shelf. We also published the Hinesburg Health Directory, a free directory of integrative health care providers in Hinesburg, VT. In 2010 we produced our very popular Yoga DVD, Every Day Yoga. We’ve sold over 100 copies so far. But there was still a missing piece—helping our students and clients to create lifestyles that support their health, reduce their stress and maintain or regain their vitality. So in 2012, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition , and we added Beecher Hill Health Coaching. We now offer the support, information and accountability that is crucial for positive, lifelong change.
