Skin care routines are completely customizable and we are all meant to have our own! I am going to have a completely different skin care routine than my best friend based off the clear fact that we two different individuals with different skin types. Honestly working on numerous faces daily I’ve been finding most people don’t know their skin type or they think they have a certain type of skin and it’s actually the opposite.... But skin types is something I’ll dive into a little later. Today I’m keeping it simple, sharing with you my nighttime regimen after I double cleanse. Now like I said we will have different products but the order in which we apply them should be the same! Think of it as levels of consistency, more watery feeling products working your way up to the more emolument products like a night cream!
Step 1: TONER this is SO important to me, not only does it balance out our skins PH levels after we disrupt it from cleansing but it gives your skin a nice foundation for products to really pe*****te into our skins layers! Think of your skin like a sponge.... when you apply soap to a wet sponge you need a little amount and it absorbs quickly but when you add soap to a dry sponge it takes a long time for it to be absorbed-same goes for skin. And trust me you will get more bang for your buck using a toner, you be able to use a small amount of product and spread it nicely all over and even down the neck.
Step 2. Serum! I absolutely love dermalogica’s biolumin-C. For one it’s one of the most stable forms of vitamin C on the market. Meaning when this product goes through shipping, different climates and temperatures the amount of vitamin C remains the same! Vitamin C is great for preventing aging, it helps with lines and brightness! This product gives my skin such a radiant glow which is a huge plus for me. As a 26 year old I definitely need to be doing more than just moisturizing but In my opinion it’s not necessary to bring out the big guns yet. Also noted that serums help everything you out on after it pe*****te deeper as well 👍🏼
Step 3: Bio Elements Skin Editor. This is my night cream it is a leave on AHA p*e creme! Continued in the comments....
