Thanks so much everyone for a great summer! It's been such a joy working with you all.

As we go into fall, I will be taking Tuesdays off (except for the third Tuesday of the month) until spring. I will also be taking off the last week of September.

Second, I will unfortunately be raising prices on some of my services due to the rising costs of expenses. As you may know, I pride myself on staying accessible, and so this is not a decision I am making lightly, but is one that I believe is necessary for my business going forward.

Here are the services and their updated prices:

Brazilian wax* - $55
Full Bikini wax - $48
Full Leg wax - $80
Half Leg wax - $48

*I will be running my 4/$150 package going forward on Brazilian waxes. This will remain the same price, even as my prices increase.

Ready for warm weather? I know I am. Waxing is a great way to get smooth skin that lasts for weeks! Summertime gets busy, so I recommend booking out your appointments at least a week in advance. Link in the bio, or call Beauty Bar By Saiko's front desk at 302-234-1400 today!

If it's been a while since your last wax, or if you have never waxed before, make sure you follow these steps to a smooth wax:

1. Grow your hair for AT LEAST two weeks. I may not be able to perform your service if your hair is too short. So if you haven't been grooming, don't worry about trimming before your appointment. Be aware that the first wax may not be perfect - it takes about three or four waxes before your hair growth is all synced up!

2. Shower before your wax in order to soften the hair and skin. This helps it come up easier and less painfully. Feel free to exfoliate the night before your appointment with a gentle washcloth or body polish. I love dry brushing, too!

3. Take a Tylenol about 45 minutes before your appointment if you feel comfortable doing so, but always ask your doctor if you are unsure about whether or not you can take a medication!

4. Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid chafing!
