Did you know Step 2 can overprocess the lashes too?

Most artists blame Step 1 when they see overprocessed lashes...

But what if the real culprit was Step 2?

👀 Swipe through to discover why neutralising times matter just as much as lifting times.

"Will brow lamination make my brows fall out?"

No. 👏

When performed correctly using professional products and correct processing times, brow lamination should not damage the brow hairs.

In fact, modern systems like Elleeplex Profusion are designed to restructure and style the brows while helping maintain their condition.

The key? Proper product selection, correct timing, and understanding the individual brow hair type.

Healthy brows + beautiful results = the goal every time. ✨

Why can brow lamination sometimes feel more sensitive on the skin compared to a lash lift? 👀

The skin around the brows is very different from the lash line area.

During brow lamination, the lotions sit directly against the skin for a longer period of time and the brow area naturally contains more sebaceous activity, larger follicles and more exposure to skincare products, exfoliants, actives and sun exposure.

This means the skin barrier around the brows can often already be sensitised before the treatment even begins ✨

Chemical softening lotions work by temporarily breaking down disulphide bonds within the hair structure to allow the brows to be reshaped. During this process, the pH of the area is elevated, which can increase the likelihood of skin sensitivity, redness or irritation especially on clients using:
• retinoids
• acne medications
• exfoliating acids
• fake tan
• recent cosmetic treatments
• or strong active skincare

This is why consultation and skin assessment are such an important part of brow lamination 🤍

Healthy brow lamination is not about processing stronger — it is about processing smarter ✨

Want your Korean Lash Lift results to look flawless every time?✨

The secret isn’t just in the solution - it’s in how you implement your flex and set checks, and don’t forget, the comb method🪮

These simple checks take the guesswork out of your processing times, and allow accuracy for each individual client, because all lashes respond differently - even when using the same product!

Fine, damaged or porous lashes process faster because they absorb the lotion quickly, while strong, coarse lashes might take a little longer.

Knowing how to read your client’s lashes during the service ensures perfect, consistent results every time.

Here’s what to look for in your flex and set checks (Korean Lash Lift friendly):
Step 1: Flex Checks - look for the classic V-shape forming in the lash, this shows that the active ingredients in Step 1 have done their job well, breaking down the disulphide bonds and making the lash more flexible and malleable. The lotion is ready to be removed when the V-shape is visual. Tip: Use the midway processing check with the comb method here - gently comb using your Precision Lifting Tool over the lashes. Check to see how the lashes are responding while Lotion 1 is applied.
2: Set Checks- here you want to see the lash bounce straight back up toward its set position on the shield. This tells you the lifting solution has processed correctly, neutralized and the bonds are reformed into their new desired position in Step 2.

By implementing these checks: You take the guesswork out of processing times You adapt to every client’s lash type You achieve consistent, professional results every time.

Use these easy-to-implement tips to level up your Korean Lash Lift results, build confidence, and ensure your clients leave with the perfect lift every time. 🧡

Chemical services can place stress on the hair structure which is why bond support matters ✨

Elleeplex ReGEN was designed to help support the lashes and brows during and after lifting, lamination, and tinting services 👀

Powered by advanced bond support technology with ingredients like Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, amino acids, and conditioning agents, ReGEN helps improve softness, flexibility, hydration, and overall hair condition after processing.

It can be incorporated into your treatment workflow to help support healthier-looking results while maintaining lash and brow integrity 🤍

Traditional lash wrapping made easier ✨

Elleebalm was designed to give artists the flexibility of a balm with the hold and control needed for clean lash wrapping 👀

Its flexible and malleable texture helps the lashes adhere quickly onto rods and shields while still allowing time for isolation, directional correction, and perfecting the wrap without excessive pulling or tension on the lashes 🤍

We especially love using it for traditional lash lifts when creating clean separation and smooth lash flow across the shield ✨

✔ Flexible, workable texture
✔ Stronger hold throughout processing
✔ Helps with directional correction
✔ No processing time adjustments required
✔ Formulated with hydrating vegan ingredients

What are we looking for during a brow lamination check? 👀✨

During Step 1, the goal is to soften and temporarily break down the disulfide bonds inside the brow hairs.

One of the easiest visual signs to check for is this:
When you brush the brow hairs into place… they should stay where you leave them 🤍

If the hairs immediately spring back or resist movement, the restructuring process is usually not complete yet.

This check is important because processing only by timing can lead to inconsistent results. Hair texture, density, thickness, previous chemical history, and even hydration levels can all affect how quickly the brow hairs respond to the lotion ✨

Watching the hair behaviour will always give you more information than watching the clock alone 👀
