Roys Barbershop

Melissa Muhammad's twin sons, Jacob and Jacoby, have mild autism. They kept applying for jobs and nothing real ever came back.

So Melissa and her husband, Abdul Salaam, stopped waiting on somebody else to give their boys a chance. They took money out of their 401(k) and opened Loganville Soul Food in Loganville, Georgia. The twins work there with their brother D'Leon.

It started with the family selling plates out of a tent. Ten months after opening the doors, they still don't have money for advertising, so they're asking people to spread the word.

"We started thinking about what would happen to our sons if something ever happened to their dad or me," Melissa said. "We wanted to leave them something they could call their own."
