Known for her attention to detail and personalized approach, Taylor specializes in brow laminations, waxing, shaping, and tinting. Kati Pelletier, RN, MBA, is a registered nurse, entrepreneur, and healthcare leader dedicated to helping people live healthier, more confident lives through evidence-based medicine, compassionate care, and patient education.

Born and raised in Millinocket, Maine, Kati is a graduate of East Millinocket High School and proudly served in the United States Air National Guard. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Eastern Maine Community College, an Associate Degree in Public Affairs from the Community College of the Air Force, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies (Pre-Law) from the University of Maine, and a Master of Business Administration from Husson University.

Throughout her nursing career, Kati has practiced in a variety of healthcare settings including pediatrics, wound care, primary care, and oncology. She currently serves as an Oncology Survivorship Nurse Navigator, where she works closely with cancer survivors to help them navigate life after treatment, improve quality of life, reduce long-term health risks, and empower patients through education and prevention. Her work has focused on developing survivorship programs, improving transitions of care, supporting accreditation efforts, and promoting evidence-based wellness strategies.

In addition to her oncology career, Kati is the co-founder and Director of Business Operations and Marketing for Alpenglow Wellness & Aesthetics, a medical aesthetics and wellness practice serving the Katahdin region and the greater Bangor area. Alongside co-founder Julia Greenwald, PA-C, she helped build Alpenglow from the ground up with the vision of bringing high-quality, medically driven aesthetic and wellness services to rural Maine.

At Alpenglow, Kati combines her clinical expertise with her passion for entrepreneurship, overseeing business development, marketing, patient experience, branding, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations while also providing aesthetic treatments as a certified nurse injector. She has received advanced training in neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, dermaplaning, chemical peels, medical-grade skincare, and regenerative aesthetic procedures including microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). Her treatment philosophy emphasizes natural-looking results, facial balance, skin health, and helping patients feel like the best version of themselves rather than looking overdone.

Kati is passionate about bridging the gap between medicine, wellness, and aesthetics. Whether helping a cancer survivor regain confidence after treatment or guiding an aesthetic patient through a personalized treatment plan, she believes exceptional care begins with listening, educating, and building lasting relationships based on trust.

Outside of work, Kati enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron and their two sons, Nathan and Tyson. She loves life in the Katahdin region, especially time at the family camp, boating, and embracing everything Maine has to offer. Her commitment to her community, passion for lifelong learning, and dedication to improving the lives of others continue to guide both her professional and personal pursuits.

Julia Greenwald, PA-C joins 1A Aesthetics as co-owner of Alpenglow Aesthetics, opening this summer in East Millinocket.

Julia grew up in the Katahdin region. Following a master's degree and 10 year career as an athletic trainer working all over the country in a variety of settings, Julia returned to Maine to attend UNE's PA program.

She has worked in a variety of settings throughout the state, including emergency medicine, primary care, and most recently, inpatient oncology.

Julia and co-owner Kati built a strong friendship, as well as a trusted primary care practice in the Katahdin region. Out of this relationship, grew the idea for Alpenglow. In the whirlwind of curating Alpenglow, and through a variety of connections, we met Miranda with 1A Aesthetics and the rest is history!

Her philosophy is simple: provide amazing, evidenced based and medically grounded care that makes patients FEEL better. The opportunity to partner with Miranda at 1A Aesthetics as a launching pad for Alpenglow was a no brainer.

Alpenglow will provide neurotoxin and dermal fillers, in addition to medical grade chemical peels--with plans to add more services in the near future. We have partnered with Hydrinity and PCA Skin, with other professional skincare relationships in the works!

In her free time, Julia enjoys trail running, spending time with her husband, Lance, Bernese mountain dogs Chesty and Opha Mae, and cats Minnie and Clyde.

Hi everyone! I’m Shona, and for those I haven’t had the chance to meet yet, I wanted to introduce myself.

I am a Licensed Esthetician, Reiki Practitioner, and the owner of Enlightened Esthetics. My passion is helping people feel comfortable, confident, and supported, whether that’s through a wax appointment, a lash lift, a Reiki session, or simply having a space where they can relax and take a breath from the chaos of everyday life.

With 23 years of nursing experience, Kate has cared for patients through some of life’s most challenging moments. Her nursing career has spanned emergency medicine, endoscopy, oncology, and several outpatient specialties, giving her a unique blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and attention to detail.

In 2008, Kate met Dr. Holly Fanjoy, and what began as a friendship eventually grew into a partnership. Together, they co-founded Radiance Medical Aesthetics and are proud to be celebrating nearly five years in business. Building RMA has allowed Kate to combine her passion for patient care with her appreciation for natural beauty, wellness, and confidence-building treatments.

✨ Meet the Owner | Miranda Manzo, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
I am so excited to introduce you to 1A Aesthetics, a shared aesthetics suite built around something I truly believe in: independent aesthetic providers thriving under one roof. That is the concept of 1A Aesthetics, a shared aesthetic suite in Holden, Maine.
I've lived in Penobscot and Hancock County my entire life and raised my children in the Bangor area, along with my very large extended family from the Millinocket area. I love our community and the people here that make our neck of the woods so special. I have been providing aesthetic medicine in the Bangor area for over 5 years, two years independently at this location but, my background in healthcare goes back more than two decades. Before aesthetics, I spent 23+ years at the bedside in critical care, the ICU, the CCU, and emergency medicine as an RN at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, PenBay, and Mayo Regional Hospitals. My clinical background also includes patient and provider education at the University of Maine, where I served as adjunct faculty at my nursing baccalaureate alma mater as a clinical instructor, teaching aspects of Northern Light Health's critical care course. That clinical foundation is the reason safety, patient education, precision, lifelong learning, and natural outcomes in aesthetic procedures are non-negotiable in everything I do.
Last year, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing from Husson University and earned my board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANPCB, milestones I'm incredibly proud of. My practice and training spans cosmetic neurotoxins, dermal fillers, biostimulators, PRP/PRF, SkinPen microneedling, IPL, photofacials, laser hair removal, radiofrequency microneedling, and skin health. I work closely with other like-minded local aesthetic providers for education, case review, and best practices, and to ensure our aesthetic medicine community remains ethical in practice and committed to the safety of the communities we serve.
What makes 1A Aesthetics special to me isn't just the services, it's the community. The 1A Aesthetics shared suite was created to give talented, independent aesthetic providers a professional home where they can build their own brands, serve their clients beautifully, and grow on their own terms.
