Over 60 years ago, our parents founded the successful Miami Hair Salon chain on Long Island, New York. Our mother, Maureen, was an exceptionally talented hairstylist who was recruited by some of Manhattan’s top beauty schools to become an educator for the next generation of stylists. While honored by those opportunities, her true passion was working directly with people behind the chair, creating beautiful hair and lasting relationships.
Together with our father, who was a successful nightclub owner at the time, they opened the very first Miami Beauty Salon. It quickly became a Long Island favorite, open seven days a week, with three nights staying open until midnight to meet the needs of its loyal clientele. Today, we are incredibly proud to announce the upcoming launch of Miami New York Hair Company. We are honored to carry on a great family tradition built on passion, hard work, and exceptional service.
