What you just saw is GROSS revenue, not take home. Not even close to what actually hits my personal account.

Before I see a dime of it, that number gets split between:

→ Taxes (self-employed tax is no joke lol)
→ Supplies
→ Rent + utilities
→ Software/subscriptions that keep this business running
→ Continuing education + online courses to stay sharp
→ Marketing and advertising

By the time all that's accounted for, the take home looks a lot different than what's on the books.

I'm sharing this because I think there's a lot of flexing online and not enough talk about what those numbers actually mean. The numbers are real butttt so is everything that comes out of it.

What I'm NOT downplaying is how grateful I am. None of this exists without the women who sit in my chair and trust me with their face. Not a single dollar on that slide happens without a client saying yes. I don't take that lightly 🫂

Every booking, every referral, every "I found you on Instagram and had to come see you;" thank you. Truly. This is the dream and I don't forget that for a second!!! ❤️
