💚 During the summer, you can usually find my little family and me exploring the woods, enjoying time at my in-laws’ lake house, and soaking up every bit of a Michigan summer we can.

As most of you know, Michigan summers are absolutely beautiful—but they seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.

That’s the biggest reason I’ve chosen not to work weekends during the summer months, including Fridays. As a business owner and a mom to young children, I’m often pulled in many directions. I love what I do and I truly love serving all of my amazing clients, but my kids will only be little for a short time. Right now, making memories with them has to take priority.

I appreciate every single one of you who understands and supports that decision. Your kindness and understanding mean more than you know. 💚

That said, I’m still here if you need me! Sometimes I do have last-minute availability, so never hesitate to reach out and ask. If you don’t hear back from me right away, please know it’s probably because I’m deep in the woods chasing adventures with my family and have absolutely no cell service. 🌲☀️

One thing I've learned over the last five years is that connection doesn't just happen—it has to be nurtured. Life gets busy, schedules get packed, kids need things, businesses need attention, and before you know it, you've forgotten to simply enjoy each other's company.

Taking time to get dressed up, go on a date, laugh together, and create memories isn't just fun—it's good for your mind and body. Shared experiences help strengthen connection, boost those feel-good chemicals, and remind you why you chose each other in the first place.

And honestly? The same goes for life in general. When you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in a rut, sometimes the best thing you can do is get out of your sweatpants, put on something that makes you feel good, and go have an experience. A walk, dinner, a date night, a new adventure—anything that reconnects you with joy.

As much as I love being your relaxation expert, relaxation isn't only about massages and scalp treatments. True wellness comes from caring for the emotional, mental, and relational parts of ourselves too. Connection, laughter, quality time, movement, rest, and meaningful relationships all play a role in helping us feel our best.

💚 Last week was a pedicure day with my mother-in-law, and we decided to try a new local spot. I have to say—it was phenomenal!

It was a wonderful reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Taking time to care for myself allows me to show up as my best self for each and every client. When my body and soul are cared for, I can provide the level of service and attention you deserve.
