Why you should choose your Massage Therapist…and things to keep in mind while finding the right person for you!

Try different therapists. Each person carries a different skill set, a different education. Some utilize energy healing, some are Medically based and offer therapeutic sessions. Personalities had to balance each other. When you feel like your therapist genuinely cares about you and your healthcare needs, then you will know that you can be comfortable on their table. Massage is very personal in close proximity with another human being. You need to be able to trust them and they need to be able to trust you.

There are lots of newer therapists out in the industry now, they are charging experienced therapist pricing. While I give them credit for being bold, you’ll know them by their hand set and their knowledge of the body. Some newer therapists are extremely talented as well so you can’t count them all out. It’s ok to choose to go another path if it isn’t the right fit for you.

Knowing your budget is important, also understanding what you’d like for the outcome of your massage is important as well. Some therapists charge for their time at one level of pricing and then have add on pricing for utilizing tools and helping therapies such as Cupping, Heat or CryoTherapies, Gua Sha…etc. Other therapists have all inclusive pricing, some utilize membership pricing or package pricing. Make sure you ask when making an appointment so you’ll know what to expect or what you might be able to participate in. Also, keep in mind, many of the booking sites ask you to prepay for your visit.

What are the Therapists booking & cancellation policies? Do they have a charge for late cancellations or No Shows. Remembering that this is their profession, this is how they maintain their office and support their families. Respect the policies and their time.

If you’d like to come to Soularium for your Massage Therapy needs, here’s what you can expect…

All inclusive Pricing for most of the add on therapies, KinesioTaping is an additional fee. We do have a Cancellation Policy in place. 24 hours to cancel or reschedule, same day cancellations require 50% of your scheduled appointment services, No Show appointments require 100% payment for scheduled services. I will not come in if I am ill and it’s something you could catch, I ask you to reschedule if you are ill as well, without penalty.

I do have a pre-pay package pricing for my 60 Minute Massage Sessions, it’s buy 5 get 1 Free.

I also offer Ionic Cleanse Foot Baths and Infrared Sauna Sessions.

I’m a 19 year Massage Professional, trained in Medical Massage and attend continuing education classes every year. I offer 45, 60 & 90 Minute sessions. Some 30 minute sessions may be appropriate after we get your treatment plan working.

I would love to work with you and help you with a plan for reaching your personal massage goals.

Now, let’s get your first Massage Session on the books! Call or text 616-212-5668. Leave a detailed message and I’ll reach out to you personally so that we can get an appointment that works best with your schedule.
