After that it calms down during the day on this side of downtown, I just recommend avoiding 8th st and park by the civic center or in the parking garage all the way up (center stairs have an elevator). Later evenings have the carnival so it picks up but otherwise isn’t packed here… plus food trucks are lined up at the civic center so get yourself an elephant ear. Then the parade days I’m closed. Just so you know!!

When you come in with very fine hair and it’s thin, I might tell you to go above your shoulders… trust me I don’t just wanna chop your hair, I genuinely think it makes it look so much fuller. Swipe to see what I mean!

Hey all! I’m offering a new service and wanted to put it out there if anyone is interested. “Hair Styling Lesson 1 on 1”

It’s $45 for an hour of hands on hair styling lessons. $80 for two hours if you think you need it.

As a stylist, I’m always hearing people say they don’t know how to curl hair, do flat iron curls, do a blow out, braid, style their kids hair, etc. Or they know how but something is being weird like getting a kink from the curling iron or braids aren’t tight and can’t figure out why. If you can learn from a video and it comes out perfect, GREAT that’s awesome, but for some that isn’t as easy. Videos can teach you how but they cant see if youre doing something wrong. That’s where I can help!

If you are looking to see what is going wrong when you style hair, I will watch you style your hair with your tools and give pointers and hands on direction to give you more success. I’ll check over other things as well like if you are using product that’s good for the style you are going for (I don’t sell product at all so I’ll never sell you on anything, just making sure the ones you have are correct). If are brand new to the world of styling or want to learn how to braid (French, Dutch, rope, etc braids) then I’ll walk you through everything and then have you do it so I can troubleshoot. If you want to learn some hairstyling for your kid then come on in and we can figure out some cute styles you can do in morning chaos.

***You do not have to go to me for your normal hair services and you arent expected to in the future. You can just come in for the lesson and go and hopefully have some more confidence in styling after! I won’t try to sway you or sell you on anything, I just want to help people who are frustrated.
