Apparently I found the perfect use for an extra 15 minutes this morning.

Radiance Peel, Charcoal Mask and my “magic petals”…all while drinking my 2nd cup of coffee in bed ☕️🙌

I don’t often think, “Oh, I have a few extra minutes, I should use them on myself” 🥴…but today I did, and it was pretty lovely.

Now the coffee is gone, the skincare is off, and I’m switching gears to prep for a certain little person’s 2nd birthday party! 🎂🎉

As we start packing away some of the summer things, there’s one thing I’m definitely keeping out...my SPF! We tend to think of sunscreen as a summer thing, but our skin needs that protection year-round, even on those cloudy fall days.

A little Skincare Awareness Month reminder that’s SO easy to forget…our skincare doesn’t have to stop at our chin 🩷
As we're cleansing, moisturizing and using our serums, bring that goodness down to your neck and upper chest. Those areas get plenty of sun and environmental exposure, but somehow they’re often the first places we forget. No extra step or extra product just keep going with what you’re already using.
An easy habit to begin that our future neck and décolleté may thank us for!
One little exception…if you’re using the 0.3% Retinol, our necks can be much more sensitive because the skin is thinner. I’d test a small area first before bringing that one down.

At this point, I’m not even sure we’re using our skincare for skincare anymore 🤦‍♀️

But when something works, you grab it! And our Charcoal Mask is one of the first things we reach for when my hubs gets a fire ant bite. His skin tends to have quite a reaction, and we’ve found the mask is incredibly soothing on the bite area.
