Menopause, stress, heat + sweat = my skin officially having a moment 🤦‍♀️
Swollen pores, random whiteheads, and that overall “my face feels unhappy” feeling called for an immediate detox.
I started with the Charcoal Mask, followed up with the Hydrating Mask, and left it on while I cleaned out the refrigerator and wiped everything down because multitasking is basically a personality at this point 😂

Yesterday was National Sunscreen Day ☀️

I’ll admit it…I grew up in the generation of baby oil, laying out in the sun, and trying to get “just one shade darker" 😂

Now we know protecting our skin while enjoying sunshine and summer fun is key to wellness in many ways.

Foundation application can make SUCH a difference…and I finally understand why people love a good complexion sponge 😂🧽
I’ve always been a foundation brush girl, so I truly didn’t expect to love the new versatile Beauty Contour sponge as much as I do.
But wow…it gives foundation such a softer, smoother, more natural finish.
A few quick tips:
✔️ Use it damp, not soaking wet
✔️ Bounce foundation onto the skin instead of dragging
✔️ Build coverage slowly
✔️ Blend softly around the jawline and hairline
The pointed tip is amazing around the eyes and nose, and the center crease works beautifully for pressing powder only where needed.

There’s truly so much I could say about the woman behind this company, but what stands out most to me is the way she empowered women long before it was common to do so.
She encouraged women to trust themselves, step outside their comfort zones, grow in confidence, support one another, and create opportunity while still keeping faith and family at the center.
What I’ve loved most over the years is that this business has never only been about skincare or makeup. It’s about relationships, encouragement, personal growth, and helping women feel confident in their own skin while creating additional income and flexibility if they desire it.
Personally, I’m incredibly thankful for the growth this journey has brought into my own life, learning not to shrink back when things feel uncomfortable because that’s often where the greatest growth happens.
I’m also deeply grateful for the amazing women and clients God has brought into my life through this business. We are all so beautifully different, and those differences make this community stronger together.
And yes…I still think it’s pretty special that doing your job well can come with encouragement, friendships, recognition, trips, prizes, and cheering each other on along the way.
