We find ourselves here again. Awaiting our precious baby girl, but finding she has already left us. 😔I keep saying it feels like a bad dream. Like a self fulfilling prophecy...but, no, I don’t really believe that. I had anxiety about losing her the moment I found out I was expecting again, and I know those are normal worries after already walking this difficult road once before. Things just happen sometimes because we live in a fallen world.
I don’t want to make this all about me. I just want her to have recognition. To never be forgotten or dismissed. She was already so loved, already worked into our family plans, already had a nursery started, already named. Paige. Our third precious baby, our second sweet girl...lost before we ever got to hold her.
I know she and Cora are together with the Lord. And I know that because of His faithful sacrifice on the cross at Calvary, & our faith in Him as our ultimate Redeemer, that we have hope in eternal life and hope to see our girls one day in heaven. I truly believe that. God’s grace is sufficient to carry us through these really hard moments, and it is well with my soul.
Only time will heal our broken hearts, and by the power of His grace, I know we will get through this too. Through this difficult process, we are choosing to focus on the positive, and what’s good in our lives. We are so grateful, and so blessed to have our little guy Paxton. He’s a good distraction, and such a little love. We are lucky to have such a wonderful family & friends, and are surrounded by so much love & support.
We will never forget you Paige & Cora. Love you, and see you soon. xoxo

13 nights of soundly sleeping 11-12 hours. The last two nights he didn’t protest at all when I laid him down for bed, and just put himself right to sleep! I am so grateful.
