Have you been working hard towards reaching your goals this week?
•
As another week comes to a close it's always a great time to look back and reflect on everything you accomplished that week, regardless of how BIG or small the goal was.
•
Besides reflecting on your accomplishments it is IMPERATIVE that you perform dynamic stretches to help flush the influx of lactic acid out of those extra sore muscles.
•
I have made a routine where I must stretch for at least 5 minutes before bed and it has done wonders for all my lifts!
•
Not sure how to start your stretching routine? The World's greatest stretch (shown above) is a great total body stretch that engages your hip flexors, glutes, quads, core and even your shoulders! This stretch has done wonder for me and I would recommend this for any who is actively training!
•
Now let's stretch and reflect on a great week! That way we can attack our workouts that much harder next week!

FRIDAY IS FINALLY HERE!!
•
Are you one who works towards accomplishing your goals everyday, or are you on autopilot Monday-Thursday eagerly waiting for Friday to arrive?
•
Most individuals are running on autopilot simply because it is the easier choice to make. It takes real mental toughness, resilience and emotional intelligence to work at something day after day without seeing immediate results.
•
This weekend I want you to sit down and WRITE out your 3 BIGGEST goals for 2019 so you can VISUALLY see them. From there I want you to list 3-4 smaller goals/tasks that will help you accomplish each of your goals.
•
Let's focus on hitting our smaller goals/tasks EVERYDAY as they will get us directly to our END GOAL!
•
2019 IS THE YEAR OF MNDSET SHIFT!!
•
Let's get our minds right and SMASH all of our goals in the process!!

In 2018 I fell in love with Stability/Bosu Ball training simply because I had a goal of improving my stability and core strength!
•
After a few weeks of busting my ass, I was able to stand completely straight on the stability ball and found myself looking for something that could test my stability and core strength even further!
•
Fast forward to 2019 and I found a new bae in the "STRONGBOARD"
•
This amazing piece of equipment will take your core strength and single leg stability to heights you never imagined!!
•
Here I am performing my favorite single leg flow consisting of:
- Single Leg Deadlift (w/5 second hold at the bottom)
- Single Leg Pistol Squat (w/hold at the bottom)
•
•During this flow each movement is performed one after the other (shown above). If this is your first time on a STRONGBOARD I would start with 3 sets of 6-8 reps on each leg!!
•
When using a STRONGBOARD make sure you have a partner or are close to a wall as piece of equipment will for sure test your stability and we do not want injuries!!

DON'T WORRY I GOT YOUR BACK!

Now that 2019 is here let's focus on being CONSISTENT & holding ourselves ACCOUNTABLE!
•
9 times out of 10 the person holding you back from achieving your goals is that "little voice in your head". Let's work to silence that little voice and instead replace it with positive, goal oriented thoughts!
•
This year I want to introduce as many people as I can to the benefits of beach training. I mean not only are the views amazing, the sun is always shining and the sand serves as a great tool to make even simple exercises much more difficult!
•

LIFE IS is ALL ABOUT BALANCE!!
•
When times seems to get difficult are you able to stabilize and remain focused?
•
Core strength/stabilityis necessary in performing almost every exercise and it is something I recommend training 2-3x a week!
•
Here we are using a bosu ball to focus on single leg/core stability. I love single leg training with the bosu ball as it is a great way to help identify in balances between each leg!
•
For beginners try standing with one leg raised in front of you for 10 to 15 seconds, followed by placing your leg behind you for another 10 to 15 seconds.
•
If those two movements seem easy give this ISO-Metric single leg deadlead a try! Shoot for 3 sets of 10-15secs by placing your arms out to the side and really engaging the core.
•
Today's the last day of the year to get a lift in so make sure it's a good one!!

Find yourself running around like a mad man at the end of the year?!
•
It's funny to me how as soon as the holidays are over everyone seems to be on a full-out sprint to close out the year and hit any remaining goals they may have.
•
Although this is a great mentality to have, this kind of mindset should be instilled at the BEGINNING of the year and not the END!! Imagine how much more we could get done if we had that same sense of urgency as we all do now!!
•
In 2018 my primary goal was to help at least 10 people make healthy changes in their diets or everyday life. Whether it was helping someone to stop eating a certain junk food, helping someone get back in the gym, or even help someone overcome mental barriers I was always there with a helping hand to make sure their goals were met!
•
I was able to accomplish this rather quickly so, this year I want to help at least 50 people! I know you may say that's a high number but as they say shoot for the moon and even if I miss I'll land among the stars!
•
If you're consistently sruggling to hit your goals, or simply just need someone to help fuel your internal fire then look no further!!! Help me get to my goal and I will do everything in my power to make sure that you accomplished yours!!
•
REMEMBER 2019 is our year!!!
•
Let's plan accordingly and get it done!
•

As 2018 comes to an end it has been nothing more than an absolute roller coaster for me. Through many trials and tribulations I have remained persistent in my vision allowing me to accomplish things I may not have been able to previously.
•
None of this would have been accomplished had it not been for a great concept known as EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.
•
For those who may not be familiar with Emotional Intelligence it is simply the capacity to be aware of and have control over your own emotions. This day in age far too many people are running around like crazy with so many thoughts on their mind and so many emotions inside of them, yet they are not taking the time to understand or even interpret any of it.
•
As the year comes to a close I ask that you take the time to begin understanding and interpreting your thoughts/emotions and don't just hold them in! This may be the breakthrough you needed that will lead you exactly where you want to be in life!
•
REMEMBER 2019 IS OUR YEAR AND WE ARE ALL GOING TO WIN!!
•
