What a better day than today to start low carb. I've been saying it for a while. Here's 3 sausage links, they are maple so they aren't officially low carb but 2 carbs in 3 links. I will get better, lol. Excuse the eyelash glue still hanging on 😂😂.
I never used to look for his car, I've looked out the window probably a thousand times today to see the same empty parking space 😞
It's time I focus on me. It's time to love me. I've put it off for so long, but I knew it was coming. I know there are others out there who feel like this.
Every time I say to myself "I just want to be loved." I really need to be saying, "The glow up is going to be glorious" You just need a little polishing 🫂
But why is it so hard 😔

I made this page months ago and kept procrastinating. But now I'm beyond tired. Things need to change. Starting today, it's just overwhelming when there is so much you don't know where to start.

Oh I remembered my second goal for the day: Declutter! My goal is to throw away AT LEAST one shopping bag of clutter everyday for the next 30 days.

You can't take care of others until you take care of yourself. As mothers we are always putting others before ourselves. Taking care of our children, our partner, our home. It's okay to take time to take care of you. Do your hair, polish your nails, buy a new outfit, get a haircut. Do something that makes you feel fabulous. 🌱✨
For me I went and bought some sunless tanner and tanned myself. Totally freaked my kids out at first, but it looked a lot better when it rinsed off and gave me some color. I'm so pale. Then I did a mani/pedi and put on some makeup. It's been so long. Baby steps 👣
One of my most important changes is going to be diet. I really need to lose weight. I want to gain my flexibility back, my body feels so stiff. Have more energy. I want to be healthy to run with my kids and be around longer for them. I plan on going low carb because its a diet I enjoy and can stick to. I've still been waffling back and forth and putting it off. This week, I'm starting no excuses. I plan on keeping it simple- no sugar, no starches. Just chicken, green veggies, salad, eggs. (I hate eggs btw 🤢) I will make a meal plan when I get started.
I feel like I need to set another goal for today. I will report back later. 👋
