As Medical Director of Mind Body Healing Center, Dr. Saba Afzal leads with compassion, clinical excellence, and a commitment to building a team that puts patients first.

Double board-certified in Psychiatry and Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Afzal is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a member of the International Society of Sport Psychiatry, and has completed additional training in reproductive psychiatry from Harvard Medical School.

Before founding Mind Body Healing Center, Dr. Afzal served in multiple physician leadership roles at academic institutions . Today, her work extends beyond New Jersey through her commitment to global mental health, providing psychiatric care to underserved communities.
