Good morning, Mark and are winding down our business. Heading into second and third retirement. Traveling more!!! Might take 5 years to sell everything but that is ok.
Recently I have been having trouble responding to messages on this site so if you need anything just call.

Finally got my little barn find metal table painted. Decided to stencil the top and partially paint the sides. Still wanted that great patina to show.

As we redo the area under our deck I decided to make a new sitting arrangement. Had some old metal shell back chairs at the barn and my original plan was to take all four apart and Frankenstein two good ones. These guys survived a barn falling over on them. Almost impossible to get bolts off so I took the two best ones and repainted them. Onto the table in between. Trying to decide what to do with that. Great chippy paint on it.

Finally got around to bringing this planter back from the shop. It’s made from the rest of my dad’s/grandpas file cabinet. Left that little tiny piece of wire wrapped around the handle because who knows how long it’s been there or who put it there.

For the last year I have been going through thousands of slides from my dad and grandpa. Last week as I was cleaning for Christmas I got a great idea to use the cases as shelves. Still messing around with the rest of the space. The small paper weaving was done by my grandpa Mac in kindergarten which I find hard to believe Because it’s so precise!
Merry Christmas

This is my mother’s/grandmothers button collection. Far as I know they have always been stored in the green Christmas box. In the past my mom has made Christmas ornaments for the entire family. But last year she told me she was done making them! ( She’s 90) Of course here I go carrying on the tradition. Doubt I can last until 90 and there will be no sewing involved! Already told grand daughter (Amelia 7) she was the next in line who told me “wait a minute you skipped a generation”. Going to make ornaments out of these buttons . Working on my ideas. I particularly like the ones marked Navy and Police and the leather ones,

A week or two ago Mark was down near Steelville helping take down a stair rail for Bob Bell (Wildwood Sprints Resort) and an old upright piano was sitting in the living room waiting to be was thrown out. After looking at a couple of YouTube videos we decided to take it apart. A job that looked like it would take 2-4 hours. 6 + hours later we got he done. Now I know why nobody wants them! But, I have ideas for her. Built in the 1874. We did bring back the top half of cast iron part. Mainly because taking out all those little post that held the tuning wire was a & # #*(.

Been working on turning the front of my grandpa’s/dad’s file cabinet drawers into something. Think it decided it wanted to be a planter. Sometimes a work on things, think about it and then finally settle on something. I used the actual file cabinet into a planter. Always like the combo of wood and metal. Just needs a bottom.

Replacing the track lights over the bar and I have always been an asymmetrical girl. Soooo after dragging home three different options( Mark rolling his eyes) I choose the original half door because one was too long and one was too busy(piano side) . Now my dilemma is should I use the same size mason jars for
lights, use different sized ones or go all large or all small.
You have to imagine this will upside down hanging from the ceiling!
