Booked Starter Loc consultation not knowing it wasn’t necessary for natural two strand twists. However I’m glad he did because ultimately he needed a loc comb out for the free formed locs that happened when the client didn’t comb his hair due to being tender headed. This was indeed the 2nd longest appointment I’ve done solely because I was being extra gentle to prevent my client from having too much pain. Overall this was a great experience start to finish but I’m not sure if I’ll do another anytime soon! 😅My hands are still recovering!

The most asked questions as a beauty service provider as well as the most inaccurately answered! “I don’t know, I’d be lying if I have you an answer at this time” is my favorite go to response. I estimated 12 hours or less to comb out… IT DID NOT! It took about 24 hours due to my client having a VERY sensitive scalp (tender headed) so I took additional time being gentle and man did my hands and wrists pay the price!

I don’t know I’ll be offering this service permanently, this service is extremely tedious, time consuming, physically draining, causes neck thumb, hand & wrists trauma from the over exertion, etc. What do yall think? Have you done loc comb outs? If so how long does it typically take you?
