One thing about natural hair that has not been silk pressed in a while the roots can be unruly. Which is no problem take your time when detangling we love the it's imperative to use caution when the hair is wet because it can be damaged easily. Take small sections when blow drying so you have more control and you get give special attention to the roots. After those steps are taken the actual silk press is a breeze.

I was not doing any hair during my trip but needed a silk press so mommy had to deliver. It was time for a trim too.

Preparing for the photo shoot is a production gotta get the hair and make up all the way together.

To all the salon aunties and family & friends. My baby girl is on the floor at hair school. Any guess who was her first her first client??? She did an excellent job scalp treatment, shampoo, blowdry and silkpress. One day soon she'll be joining her sister and continuing what her mommy started. I couldn't be more proud. Had to share🤍

There is a method to my madness if you can do something and explain it you can teach it I'm always preparing my children in an indirect way for what's next. Being able to do hair, explain what you're doing and educate your clients is crucial in the world of hair. We're not just stylist, we are beauty industry professional's and future beauty professionals. I think is going to be ready and she's just getting started.

Don't judge me... I have about 3 1/2 inches of new growth. Using Flourish & Grow has my hair growing like a w**d.
