As medicine advanced, barbers did not continue the role of the “barber-surgeon-dentist” but maintained their identities as community leaders. The role of the Black barbershop is well documented in the history of the Civil Rights movement as a gathering place in which to plan strategy and promote unity.

We regretfully inform you that Barber Brian will be leaving our team at DiverCity Cuts|DiverGent Cuts and relocating to another location. His dedication and contributions have been invaluable, and he will be greatly missed.
